Elevator Pitch workshop IAHPC's recent announcement of a members-only Elevator Pitch workshop received an overwhelming response! Since participation was limited to 12 members, we had to close the applications process 24 hours after sending the announcement, when 55 responses had been received. Twelve applicants have been selected and notified. For anyone who is interested in the seminar but not selected, a recording of the two-part workshop as well as a resource list will be available in July. Watch this space for a link.
Safe Access seminar Registration is open for a June 26 webinar on "Balancing Control and Compassion: Ensuring Safe Access to Opioids" organized by the United National Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), marking the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The seminar is being held at 12:30 GMT. The panelists are: IAHPC Senior Director of Advocacy and Partnerships Katherine Pettus, founder of Pallium India M.R. Rajagopal, Uganda health and human rights advocate Wamala Twaibu, and Marie Curie policy and public affairs manager Mark Jackson. The moderator is Parth Sharma of UNODC's Young Doctors Network and Pallium India.
