IAHPC Ends 2024 in good numbers

Thanks to a growing membership (aided by IAHPC's membership drive and having a booth at the ALCP congress), donations (including a couple of unexpected major ones), and a pair of grants for research projects, IAHPC slightly exceeded its financial expectations in 2024. That offset IAHPC's slightly higher-than-budgeted operating expenses for the year: $193,805 was budgeted, expenses totaled $197,295, and income reached $207,125, including memberships, books, donations, and donations in kind.

IAHPC is a nonprofit that does not accept corporate donations and is strictly apolitical and non-denominational. If you are not a member, please consider joining IAHPC as we embark on a new year working with governments, associations, agencies, and individuals to improve knowledge, increase access to resources, and foster opportunities in palliative care education, research, and training around the globe.

A reminder that IAHPC is hosting an international, interfaith webinar on February 11 in recognition of World Day of the Sick. Use this Zoom link to attend, or watch the recorded webinar after it is loaded onto our advocacy page.

Also, send us your photos from World Cancer Day activities on February 4 & we'll publish the best in an upcoming issue.
