IAHPC Membership Matters

Your membership can make a world of difference.

Sign Up to be Eligible for 2019 IAHPC Institutional Award

As a way to recognize the commitment and support from leaders in institutions that join the IAHPC as members, all current institutional members are eligible for the annual Institutional Award: a $USD2,000 Traveling Scholarship or Traveling Fellowship. The institution determines who in their group will use the traveling scholarship.

If your institution has been thinking of joining IAHPC, now is the time! The winner will be drawn at random from those who are institutional members on April 30, 2019. To join IAHPC, click here.

The only other criterion is that the institution has never received the award in the past. (IAHPC staff members, relatives and directors are not eligible to participate.) The winner will be contacted in May and announced in an upcoming issue.

This is the third year of the award. The 2018 winner was Assisi Palliative Care Berhad in Malaysia; it selected Ms. Satwin Kaur as the recipient of the scholarship. Ms. Kaur will use the scholarship to attend the 6th World Congress on Hospice and Palliative Care in Singapore, 13-14 May 2019.
