Updates about the Pain & Policy Studies Group International Pain Policy Fellowship

In 2016, PPSG (Pain & Policy Studies Group) celebrates the 10th anniversary of its International Pain Policy Fellowship (IPPF) program, which empowers emerging leaders from low- and middle-income countries to identify and overcome barriers to the use of opioid medications for pain relief and palliative care in their countries. PPSG is excited to announce updates to our website highlighting the IPPF.
The updates include a revamped introductory page that describes the IPPF and features a new informational booklet about the IPPF. The purpose of the booklet is to provide a brief overview about the program, list the Fellows that have participated in the program since its inception in 2006, and highlight Fellowship successes.
Additionally, PPSG has also produced individual one-page web profiles for each Fellow that summarize the background, Fellowship successes, ongoing progress, and challenges/future needs related to the IPPF:
- 2006 Cohort
- 2008 Cohort
- 2012 Cohort
- 2014 Cohort (African Pain Policy Fellowship)
PPSG is grateful to the Open Society Foundations for their support of these important website updates.
