WHO Fact Sheets on Palliative Care
Preparing a lecture or publication and need up-to-date facts on palliative care? The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently uploaded a useful fact sheet to its website. Information includes key facts about palliative care, poor access and barriers, what countries can do to make sure that palliative care is included in the continuum of care for people with chronic and life-threatening conditions, and how the WHO has responded and will continue to work to strengthen palliative care. The Palliative Care Fact Sheet (N°402 July 2015) is currently available in English, French and Russian on the WHO website (Media Centre).
