Windows Within Project
Mary York, a hospice volunteer and founder of the Windows Within Project, introduces a new online resource that features the experiences of hospice volunteers
The Windows Within Project is a place where hospice volunteers share profound discoveries and reflections about what truly matters in life. The Project's unique vision is to embrace the ‘windows within’ volunteers and patients and to celebrate the wisdom and inspiration that often accompanies end of life experiences.
Volunteers believe it is an honor to sit with someone who is living through the end of their life. Windows Within Project’s Spotlight Volunteer for April, Sky Yeasayer, expresses it this way, “My work is a great reminder of the preciousness of life.” See her Spotlight feature here and her beautiful ‘Pink Angels’ reflection.
By featuring hospice volunteers and sharing their profound experiences, I hope that we will all learn to better embrace our mortality, and live a life of gratitude and service.
Please share this new resource with your friends, family and colleagues via your social media networks and communities.
