Professor Julia Downing honored with Pearl Moore ‘Making a Difference’ award

IAHPC Board member, Professor Julia Downing, has received the Pearl Moore "Making a Difference" award in recognition of her extensive contribution to cancer care internationally. The award ceremony took place on Thursday 23 April at the Oncology Nursing Society's 40th Annual Conference, which took place in Orlando, Florida. Congratulations to Professor Downing on this well-deserved recognition.

7th Annual Spirituality and Health Summer Institute – 8-11 July 2015, Washington D.C. US

2015 Palliative Care in Oncology Symposium: Abstract submitter now open

Submit an abstract for the 2015 Palliative Care in Oncology Symposium (October 9-10, 2015 in Boston, Massachusetts). The abstract submitter, registration, and hotel reservations are now open.

The Palliative Care in Oncology Symposium is a unique venue for presenting and discussing information that is vital to the entire cancer care continuum, from laboratory research regarding biologic mechanisms of symptoms to caring for patients' psychosocial and spiritual needs during cancer treatment and at end of life.

The program committee is seeking abstracts in the following topic areas:
