11th Asia Pacific Hospice Conference, 2015

April 30 - May 3, 2015, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Hospice Foundation of Taiwan and Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN) are honored to co-host the 11th APHC, 2015. The theme for this congress is “Transforming Palliative Care”, reflecting the many changes which the relatively new field of endeavor is undergoing. In so many countries in the region, hospice and palliative care are relatively new, with services just starting or attempting to start. Yet even in those countries where hospice and palliative care has been developing for the past 25 to 30 years, the transition from fringe to mainstream within the health system continues. Much needs to be done to prepare the workforce with the most up-to-date knowledge in the field and to produce new knowledge relevant to local circumstances.
