Welcome to the November issue of the IAHPC Newsletter, with articles, reviews, announcements and resources focusing on some of the key concerns within the global palliative care community. I am so grateful to all our contributors and everyone behind the scenes who has been involved in bringing this issue to you. It’s been exciting to put together my first issue of the newsletter but also a great personal challenge to keep up the high standards of Dr William ‘Bill’ Farr and Dr Roberto Wenk – some very big shoes to fill! But I’m very excited to be part of this great initiative.
