Workshop on Palliative Care at Bangalore, India.
A workshop on Palliative care was conducted for counselors, social workers and volunteers in November 2013 at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. The resource persons were Prof. M. R. Rajgopal, Dr. Nagesh Simha and Dr. Ali Kwaja. Around 110 participated in the workshop actively; they were all enthusiastic to take palliative care back to their communities with future plans to start a home care service.
