International Day of Care and Support, 2024
International researchers, practitioners, and caregivers gathered on October 29 for IAHPC's second annual webinar on the International Day of Care and Support. This free global webinar responded to the call of the 2023 UN Resolution “International Day of Care and Support” to raise awareness of the importance of care and support, including the development of strong and resilient care and support systems. The World Health Assembly resolution 67/19 Strengthening palliative care as a component of comprehensive care throughout the life course also highlights “the need for continuing palliative care education and adequate training for all hospital- and community-based health care providers and other caregivers, including nongovernmental organization workers and family members.”
Broadcast on October 29, 2024.
Read Barry Ashpole's Literature Search on Community and home based palliative care.
We are very grateful with the speakers for sharing their thoughts, research, and experience during the webinar.
