From the Bereavement Care journal

Bereavement Care is an international journal for those who help bereaved people. We are in need of a new Webwatch writer.

The journal is published three times a year, in association with Cruse and Routledge. We need a knowledgeable researcher who can research and write a 1200 word article for each issue reviewing coverage of a topic of current interest on the worldwide web. Recently, for example, we have had articles on pro-suicide sites, support sites for those bereaved by a death in the armed forces, and memorialising people on social networking forums such as Facebook and Twitter.

Please contact Catherine Jackson, with examples of your written work and some suggestions for how you might develop the column. We cannot pay a fee but the Webwatch writer will receive complimentary copies of the journal and online access. Contact the managing editor [email protected] . Closing date is 2 January 2010.
