Danilo Fritzler
Webmaster
Danilo Fritzler joined the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) in 2008.
He currently serves as the IAHPC Webmaster. In this role, his goal is to strengthen global access to reliable palliative care information and resources, supporting IAHPC’s projects, programs, and communications. This includes helping share positive stories of change that inspire action and strengthen the global palliative care movement—advancing IAHPC’s vision of a world free of health-related suffering. He also supports IAHPC’s internal operations by designing and maintaining custom web-based tools that help staff work efficiently. Because IAHPC depends on information technology, his work is critical to organizational performance and the delivery of planned outputs.
In his current role, Danilo maintains and continuously improves the IAHPC website and related digital services, updating key pages, forms, and workflows that enable users to join as members, make donations, apply for grants, and participate in research activities. He also helps ensure the site remains secure, accessible, and easy to navigate for a global audience. He manages and develops publicly available resources and contributes to the development of key digital projects such as Pallimedicines, Pallipedia, Pallinet, and the Global Palliative Care Database. He also builds and maintains custom tools that support internal administration, including memberships, directories, and the calendar of events. Danilo works closely with IAHPC staff to produce and disseminate Pallinews, publish special announcements, and share content across IAHPC’s social media channels, as well as support fundraising campaigns and other special initiatives. Since 2008, the IAHPC website has grown significantly, and he is now responsible for a much more complex and comprehensive resource.
Danilo holds a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Universidad Abierta Interamericana and an Advanced Technical Systems Analyst degree from Instituto Superior de Formación Técnica N° 38. His professional interests include web development, information systems and automation, and accessibility and user experience.
Danilo is a Christ follower, married to Daniela, and the father of Jana. He lives in Villa General Savio, Argentina. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, and playing the drums.
